So now do you see why I am so chuffed? It's GORGEOUS!!! And secretly, I want to keep it for myself!!
Details:
4ply Merino from The Knittery in the Coral Reef colourway.
The pattern (for SNB Volume 1) calls for 2 strands of Koigu PPPM knit together. As my Aussie knitting sista's know it is almost impossible to get that yarn over here. Sigh! (I got to fondle some on the weekend, double sigh!) Which is why I decided on 4ply merino from The Knittery. And to tell you the truth, I am really glad I am using it. This BBB Blanket is going to be lush!!
Did you know that Daphne can custom dye for you? So if there is a particular colourway you are after, for a particular wool The Knittery carries, she can make it up for you. Ahhhh, sweet Daphne. I am just positive she is as gorgeous as the beautiful colours she dyes her yarns!
So there you have it. I am a self appointed master craftswoman. Now if only I could pat myself on the back properly. Damned arms just don't reach that far!!!

Shaz I am giving you a virtual **pat on the back**. BBBB looks ace. You kniting wizz you@
Lift arm straight above head. Bend same arm at elbow. Place hand of bent arm behind your head, at your back. Pat away! You can do it, I know you can!
You rock! BBBB rocks! Daphne rocks!
The 4B is so beautiful, it even looks cuddly!! Daphne is great: she made the Forest colour for me!!!!
Ok, now I am very jealous that 2paw has had a Daphne colour made for her!!
oh that's so lovely. Can you do an up close shot, like really up close so I can see the colours and stitches more clearly? Just for me, Shaz? Pretty please? Go on, you know you want to make me happy....!
Wow, that is looking amazing - the colourway is so perfect for a bub. I'm happy to send a back-pat from here too, you certainly deserve it!
Is it OK if I take sneaky peak at the pics you take for Bells? Would love to see more!
Lovely lovely baby blanket - almost enough to make me want babies again - no, actually, that is a lie. No frikking way I'm doing babies again, but maybe I could have a baby blanket as a lap rug? Hmm, MUCH better idea!
The yarn is just divine, those colours are spectacular. Well done (pats back)!
