So I'm afraid if I knit something I really hate for someone, they might fall down and break their ankle or something from all the negative energy the garment absorbed. Both fluffy shedding icky things, didn't like the colours of either. Dunno, just made myself knit the blasted things, and was glad when they were over. Something good (but fairly mindless) on the teev or in your ears. Works for me with one real horror I had vollunteered (just shut up Gem, never volunteer) to knit, cause it was not going to get done otherwise. There wasn't a lot of love went into it and it was drudgery. I finished it early. You can do that with scarves, not so much with shawls, I imagine.

Do what I did at hard times with the steeked jacket. Set yourself a daily limit to get through then reward yourself with something fun.

Oh and I'm with you on the maroon. Burgundy is nice. I grit my teeth and got through it, but I won't do it again. I just won't knit for those "sensitive" people unless they can find a yarn I can deal with.

Good luck to you.amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02429539000041713324noreply@blogger.com
